Our Sponsor Child in Ethiopia

This is our sponsor child, Goytom in Ethiopia. I got to meet him in February 2009. He really deserves the first post in this category. If you would like to sponsor a child, check out Food for the Hungry. It has been 2+ years since I have been to Ethiopia but I think about it often. It’s great to be able to continue a relationship with Goytom after the trip is over through writing letters back and forth and sending pictures. I even get copies of his report cards in the mail. It was amazing, just about a week ago, we got a Christmas card in the mail from him – our first Christmas card of the year came from East Africa!!!
